The Yearbook on Disk is the software version of the Seventh-day Adventist Yearbook
Available on a CD-Rom

The Yearbook on Disk provides all of the same information available in the printed Adventist Yearbook. It is a software application that can be installed on any Microsoft Windows 95 through Windows 8 Operating System. Updates of new contact information for Yearbook entities can be downloaded throughout the year. Features include:

Extra PDF Documents

Extra PDF documents are now  bundled with the Yearbook on Disk Software as a bonus feature. Viewing these PDFs will require PDF Reader software and a web browser. Bundled PDFs include:

  • SVGA monitor (800x600 or higher)
  • Internet Access (needed for Directory Content updates, but not for original data)
  • PDF Reader software such as Adobe Reader or Foxit Reader (for viewing the Extra PDF files)
  • Web Browser such as Internet Explorer or Chrome (for viewing the menu of available PDF files)

Mac, Linux, and other Operating Systems

  • Reading from the CD-ROM:  Users can access the 2016 Seventh-day Adventist Yearbook (and other associated content) in PDF format by opening the menu.html file in the Extras folder on the CD-Rom.
  • Data transfer to your computer:  If you would like the 2016 Adventist Yearbook PDF (and other associated content) available on your machine without using the CD-Rom, just copy the Extras folder to a desired location on your computer, and open the menu.html file within it. Creating a link or shortcut to the menu.html file may be helpful.
  • Virtualization:  The Adventist Yearbook software will only run on Microsoft operating systems. To use this software on a Mac, run a copy of a Microsoft operating system on virtualization software such as VMWare Fusion 4 or Parallels Desktop 7. Then install this software within the Microsoft operating system.

Downloading the most recent versions of a PDF Reader and a Web Browser are recommended.
